Workshop at IBSU- International Black Sea University

Our team visited the International Black Sea University (IBSU) and held an insightful workshop on addiction for the students of faculty psychology. The session explored what addiction truly is, how it develops, the psychological and neurobiological mechanisms behind it, and why early detection plays a crucial role in prevention and effective support.

Through interactive discussions, case examples, and practical tools, students learned how to identify early warning signs, approach individuals with empathy, and understand the importance of creating a supportive environment in both clinical and community settings.This workshop helped future psychologists strengthen their professional awareness and deepen their understanding of addiction as a complex, multifaceted condition — not a moral failing, but a treatable health issue.
